A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is a certification that allows a pilot to operate an aircraft for compensation or hire. In other words, a CPL enables a pilot to work as a professional pilot, such as a charter pilot, corporate pilot, or airline pilot.

Course Overview

One-on-One Training

During the training for a CPL, pilots learn advanced flight maneuvers, such as steep turns, stalls, and emergency procedures. They also receive instruction on topics such as flight planning, flight management, and aircraft systems.
Have a minimum number of 250 flight hours
Pass a written exam covering a range of aviation topics, such as aerodynamics, navigation, weather, and regulations
Pass a practical flight test with an FAA examiner or equivalent authority

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old

Obtain a medical certificate.

Hold a Private Pilot License (PPL)
